Lok Abhiyan
To eradicate poverty and social exclusion which is a serious disease in the society even in this global era, we facilitate empowerment of women and girls from marginalized communities. We provided skill training to around 300 local women and helped them earn additional income and respect in their families. Formation of SHGs played a vital role in setting up small businesses. Now a large number of women have started their own small shops, bought sewing machines or hand-pulled rickshaws (thela). SHGs have brought remarkable changes in their lives.
