Child Rights & Education

India has the highest number of child labourers as compared to other countries. These child labourers are forced by business organisations or individuals to work in unbearable conditions, and are sometimes even pushed into prostitution. These poor, helpless children face exploitation, violence and abuse. Their poor economic condition, migration to fulfil their needs, low quality of education available to them, abnormal education and expensive education and discrimination are some of the main reasons due to which children drop out of school and are forced to do child labour. In view of these circumstances, ZFM Foundation and Welfare Trust works to ensure that every child in the country gets quality education with basic basic facilities, secondary education and adequate infrastructure, so that he is not forced to drop out of school or do child labour and the child labour rate in this country decreases.
